Jam Circle

About This Project:

For my first senior capstone project at UC Santa Cruz, I led a team of five developers to build Jam Circle, a web application that integrates the Spotify API to provide users with personalized music listening statistics and the ability to share insights with friends. We developed the application using Django for the backend, PostgreSQL for data storage, and React, JavaScript, and TailwindCSS for the frontend, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient data retrieval. To manage the project effectively, we implemented Agile methodologies, conducting sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, which facilitated smooth collaboration and ensured on-time delivery. This app was never deployed officially, but the code is open source.
